The Indian summer brought many beautiful moments by the water and plenty of great catches. Perch, in particular, were exceptionally good this year – there were countless fish over 40 cm. The most successful lures once again proved to be Red Bass 8 cm nymphs, Kicker shads, and KiXter twisters in size S, and the Carolina Rig with a Magneto shad also performed very well. By the end of October, zander started biting more frequently too (Tonda already has his first one over 80 cm). Here, the best-performing lures are RedBass X and XL nymphs, Kicker shads in L and XL sizes. And as a bonus, lots of average pike, an occasional asp, catfish, or chub. Simply a perfect Indian summer.
